Just had an interesting call. The former A/P Director (whom they forced to quit) that brought me in for the temp job called me to thank me & apologize for bringing me into the mess that it's now become. Even though that was totally not her fault and she had no way of knowing what was going to happen, that they were going to lay off and backstab so many people, and try to force those that are left into doing three jobs at once for the same or LESS pay?! Well I told her that she need not worry because I chose not to have my assignment extended. She brought me in to cover a vacation, and that's what I did.

That was nice of her to call. Not necessary, but nice.
