Over the past few weeks, and especially last night, I have started to realize I might be turning into a fan of good Scotch. I never cared for it much before (honestly I pretty much refused to drink it because I hated the "bite") but I have a friend who loves it and always buys me a glass when we're out whether I want it or not. It's slowly grown on me recently and last night I was excited about going out and trying some more. I did a side by side with Johnny Walker Red and Black. It was a night and day type of difference and I thought the black was actually really delicious and I didn't want the glass to ever get empty! The red tasted and smelled pretty funky compared to the black, which was smooth and appealing. Swirling the glass around, breathing in the scent of the scotch, taking small sips and savoring them, making it last... I'm totally into this scotch thing.

I'm really looking forward to trying more. What are the good ones?

Also, scotch is the best liquor/alcoholic beverage. Hands down. I love me some Glenlivet.
