In your first post you said " I like Scott and respect his playing, but he dosen't seem as skilled as Hetfield or the great MegaDave on rhythm guitar". Trust me dude. My band used to cover all of Puppets, Rust In Peace, and most of Speak English or Die .(How do cover What's That Noise??). Listen to Speak English or Die by S.O.D.! I promise you'll be impressed by Scott's rhythm playing.

You just...you know, you get a rythm player and a lead player. Role of the rythm player is to play rythm guitar. That's how it works. Scott has mastered the rythm guitar playing and he's the master. Plus, he always had quite cool lead player by his hand, so why bother. And anyway, he DID play leads. Madhouse, Got The Time, Burst... there is a lead he played on WCFYA too. At least he said or wrote so.
