Shoegaze

I saw MBV in seattle last year, WAY TO MANY LIGHTS SHOOTING IN MY FACE, impossible to enjoy the show, love the music though, and it was too loud.

I don't know if i'd consider the following bands shoegaze, but it has some elements, I've been trying to get people into Saturnia and Failure for years.

More shoegays related stuff:

Ketamine Suns are great if you're into the Bristol sound (Portishead, Massive Attack):

I never see anyone talking about Cocteau Twins on here. I think many of you'd get into the darkness of some of their older and mid-period material.

I saw MBV in Seattle as well and it was a great show. The light show was impressive but yeah, at times I had to look away. Truly a legendary band.

Alcest is one of my favourite bands of all time and recently went to see them live in Toronto. The guys just rock!
Percées De Lumière/B] is one hell of a song! To me, it's a classic already.

Catherine Wheel's Ferment album may just be one of the greatest shoegaze albums I have heard. It's old school but still sounds as impressive as any other music that's coming out these days.

Slowdive is by far my favorite Shoegaze band. Also there are my Bloody Valentine, coctezu twins, and the Jesus and Mary Chain.

If you like Alcest, you mike like this other group Neige is in, Amesoeurs.

Les Discrets is a shoegaze/post rock group I like that you guys might want to check out. Their album Septembre et ses dernieres just came out in March, also similar to Alcest (newer).

My Bloody Valentine's Loveless is timeless classic shoegaze album. If you haven't heard it, it's most recommended. Exceedingly beautiful album!!

That was one very endearing MBV song and listening to Ride makes me think of this as Shoegaze as well..

I don't usually watch/like video but this one is sublime art! Completes the song...
