Should the encore be changed to Blackwater Park?

BWP is the best choice.. I mean Demon of the fall just drops off & doesnt really feel like a climax & Deliverance while having an awesome ending, doesn't feel like a climax either..
BWP climaxes brilliantly and is one of the heaviest crushing songs that Opeth have!!

This song should certainly be the encore, no doubt about it!!

Hell yes. Easily. BWP was one of the most uplifting experiences in my gigging life. It seriously owns Demon as an encore.

I would suggest "A Fair Judgement" or "Deliverance" as a good encore. The heavy fade-outs both songs have are just awesome.


"Demon of the Fall" or "Blackwater Park" would both be good intros, I think.

BWP would probably be a good closer, demon of the fall is one of my favorite songs so I liked it as an encore, it added to the 25 mins of headbanging already done.

I'd like either. BWP is certainly longer, which is a good point, and it has such a climax that would be awesome to finnish a show with, whereas DOTF kind of dies out at the end (in a good way though).
So it's a tought call.

Hell yes, Blackwater Park was fucking excellent live. I'd never actually gotten into that song until I heard it played live, and now it'd be up in my top 10 'peth songs!

And, yes, The Moor was a great opener. That wasn't a torch in your back, Moonlapse.
