Show us your studio 2010 [room / racks / backline] - no setup to small !!!

@ pipaguapique
Did u make those wood diffusers? I want to put some in my live room but idk if they sell them cheap.

Gracias Guitarrista Guru haha

I have a carpenter that has done everything that's wood in the studio, i drew the design and he made it come to life.

Thanks Jarkko...i get that from everyone, plus, it's far away from the city so it gets very nice and peaceful during the night. The controller is a Motor Mix. I love that little thing.

my carpenter did...i drew them from the original design (which costs $399 for 2!!) and they work quite well.

Do you have the schematic you used? I am considering buying some diffusors from GIK that are 260 for a pair, a decent DIY project that could yield some similar results would be awesome!

This was my very first setup!!! Pretty fuckin ghetto huh?? The pic was taken in 2007 I believe. That is when I decided I wanted to quit using an 8track recording unit and start learning how to do everything with a computer. I didnt wanna get ripped off by another local studio owner again, so I wanted to make my record myself. At first I used Kristal for my daw, then I discovered the cracked sx3. Yep, I used some cracked plugs when I first started out, but then realized that I needed to LEARN HOW to Actually mix instead of worrying about all the cool plugins I could be using. As like most people, Im still learning the craft!
Sadly, I still use the Behringer monitors because I havent been able to afford to get anything better. There are things that are higher up on the priority list I think. Also I still have the Ux1. Ill never get rid of that thing!!!
Luckily now, I have a Motu 8pre and Profire 2626. I dont have any pics of the studio I work at now, but I did post several videos of it on here a couple months ago! I no longer have a home setup. Everything I own is at the studio. I dont live in my own place right now, so having anything here is impossible anyway. I wish i could go back to doing stuff at home to be honest. I was getting so much more practice and learning so much more. Now im lucky if I get to see the studio once a week.

ALSO, I had to edit out my bag of weed that was sitting on top of the computer. I didnt realize it when I took the pic. What a stoner.

nah man...it was a hand drawing with the exact measurements and he kept it. He said they were complicated to make, but i ended up paying about $100 for all 7 of them

EDIT: did the "you know who" thread got deleted?
