SKYRIM!

Anyone found any notable phat loot ?

Im still running around in my novice hood and a robe with -12% cost to dest spells and 50% magic regeneration plus misc non magic parts..

I was wondering how the enchanting works.. would I be able to break down the robe and then apply the magic (-12% cost to dest spells and 50% magic regeneration) to a item of my choice, like some light plate armor or something ?

Managed to max out the new character's smithing skill, and got around to forging a set of this:

Hanging to score a few hundred bucks for Ebony Ingots, and then we'll be dual wielding Daedric Swords.... mmhmmm

Just bought it on Steam,
now to leave the computer on for 6 weeks while it downloads

Any tips on a Battle Mage character build?

Focus on conjuration. Summon a frost astronach and use bound weapons. Kicks serious ass.

Just started an archer build, excited to do some stealthy stuff.

I'm finding the game REALLY easy now. I maxed my smithing and built a full dragonscale armor set and full daedric upgrade weapons - bow + dual wield swords. I've got the difficulty on Master and I still take out everything really easily - dragons take 15 shots of my bow while Shadowmere tanks :/ not sure how to be challenged. I die really easily though, but rarely.

I'm level 17 at the moment. Just got to the Wall of Alduin. Blades armour + sword that you get in there has really given me a bonus. I'm mostly working with fire magick right now.

Awesome char! Yeah I also think the game has some balance issues. Most enemies die after one or two sword blows (+lightning cloak active) and make almost no damage but others kill me instantly (like the guy in the last mage guild quest). The dragons are a bit too easy imo, while giants and bears are incredibly powerful in comparison.. that's just weird.

I hate that we can't make quick slots for weapon sets or spells, only the stupid "favorite" list. I want to be able to use 1-10 to bind spells and not have to press Q, select the different spell and hit Q again everytime. That's just lame.
Other than that I still love the game, and now I want to max out smithing too damnit :D

why does it never occur to me to play a chick in a video game?
Hm... probably because you like staring at a dude's ass all the time?

Man you got to start taking screenshots where we can actually see something haha. Stand in front of a fireplace or cast a lightspell if you really want to make the screenshot at night ;)

Assign the spell to your Favorites, pull up the Favorites menu, highlight the spell, then press whatever number key you want to assign it to.

Wow, last time I saw this thread it was only one page. I decided to completely abandon my initial battle mage direction in favor of an all out mage. It takes so long for my magic to run out when I'm dueling destruction spells, it's awesome.
