So Europeans, what's the deal with the Swiss?

I've noticed that there are members from almost all of the countries of Northern/Western Europe on here, but the one glaring omission seems to be Switzerland (and Austria, though I seem to think I've seen one or two of 'em...maybe). So what's the deal with the Swiss? The country is something of an enigma to me, I don't know much about 'em except that they speak 3 languages depending on where you are geographically (France, German, or Italian), they apparently don't let ANY non-native-born person become a citizen, and there are no metal bands that I can think of that originated from there.

And to anyone who IS Swiss on here, I mean no offense, just curious!

Mago De Oz, Eluveitie and other bad folk metal comes from there.

We played there at a festival and my band ordered 4 medium cheese/ham pizzas at the hotel after and paid 80€...

Kruger are Swiss IRC. More in the hardcore realm but they rock nevertheless. The Young Gods were my favourite Swiss band though.

One of my mates/work colleagues is Swiss....he's complete euro-trash despite non being a paid-up member of the EU. They love their right-wing politics and have nice little laws like if you are an immigrant and one of your family members is convicted of a crime, they can kick your entire family out of the country. I believe this also applies to 1st generation Swiss nationals as well.....charming.

that's actually not quite correct. they have 4 languages, the fourth is Romansh, which is basically a latin dialect. in german it's called rätoromanisch

Ok, well of all these bands you guys have mentioned, I've heard of exactly one of them (Celtic Frost), so my sentiment still stands Interesting about the "deportation of a whole immigrant family if one commits a crime" bit, and consistent with what I've heard about their feelings on the subject.
