i've only watched a few episodes so far, but MAN is it awesome. and yeah, for something almost 40 years old it sure does kick the shit out of all kinds of crap that came after it.

i even have a "prisoner" book covering every goddam aspect of the series. it actually burned me out and i dont have much of an interest anymore. but, the whole series is on dvd now btw. has been for a few years now. it gets very very wierd towards the end.

Zen > Gaypod. Plus I get longer battery life than any of my buddies with ipods. Now... you wouldn't think that matters, but i'm blonde and flighty so I often forget to hook it up to the charger at night and the long battery life means I can go like 3-4 days without recharging. thats 4 hours of commuting, plus an hour at school off and on and usually album hopping while i'm at school... (HD work)

more battery life = depends; mine is fine for my needs
external volume = not really sure what you mean by this, but the iPod volume control couldn't be any easier to use
better sound quality = rather subjective, so bzzzt, this doesn't count
plays wma files = I'll grant you that, but who really cares for a PORTABLE device? I see no sense in being able to play a 45-60MB file when a 4.5-6MB file will do just fine
not apple = disregarded
no itunes = this is a GREAT program, what's your problem with it?! lol
