I thought you were SUPPOSED to know more than your boss about your own work whilst the boss takes care of his own work (ie telling people what to do and stuff)?
Human beings were not meant to sit in little cubicles staring at computer screens all day, filling out useless forms and listening to eight different bosses drone on about about mission statements.
Nope. I get out to the field 5 or 6 times a month so that's good, and I get to listen to any music I want because if it's too loud/annoying, I have a door I can close. For an office job, it isn't bad. Although when I used to have a cubicle I listened to any music I wanted anyhow, people would complain and I'd turn it down for about an hour, then bring in Goatsblood the next day.
