So I tried the Revalver mkIII on a mix!

I tried this amp simulation from Peavey amps. I must admit it’s really good. Just to try it I made a mix of Denicalis‘ song And Angels Brought Carnage. I don’t think you can tell it’s not a real amp. I just loaded the default preset of the 6505 amp and added Treble - that’s all!. This is the result:

I cant speak for him, but I sure do!
And I want more bass on everything in that mix.

Are you mixing with a sub thats being maxed out or something?
Because the mix sounded thin as paper untill I boosted the bass on my poweramp.

sounds like vetta to me. most digital amps and modler programs record with wierd mid/highs to me. Ive heard some good stuff from some people but the wierd mid/highs always give it away.

The point of this post was to listen to the Revalver with it's default preset. The guitars are a bit loud and pushing away the lower end when it came to the mastering compressor. This song has already been mixed with an Engl Powerball earlier and this mix is not the official. I just switched to the Revalver to see how it would sound and thought I would share my excitement.

Dont get me wrong. it sounds very good. I'm sitting here listening to log sacrament and I think your modler sounds very similar.

We already know ReValver is the best amp sim on the planet, and we also know the presets that come with it suck ass. Thanks for trying though.
