So, what did you buy at Bloodstock?

A second bloodstock ticket (forgot to bring the one id ordered) :ill:

Thats all I could get then, borrowed money for alcohol

I bought:
Dream Theatre - Awake
Gamma Ray - No World Order :-D
Blind Guardian - A Night at the Opera

Not the best purchases seeing as I had the last two, only I've lost my first Night at the Opera CD and No World Order is scratched to hell! This time I'm going to make copies of my CDs to play.
Still, the best things from Bloodstock I have are my Special Edition Century child CD signed, and my signed Imaginations (Blind Guardian) from last year. Wau!

Power Quest - Wings Of Forever
Dragonforce - Valley Of The Damned
Nightwish - Century Child
Masterplan, plus a second copy for a friend
Helloween - The Dark Ride
Helloween - The Time Of The Oath

All signed except Nightwish, I couldn't be bothered waiting in that queue.

I regret not buying Saracen's album, but I'll get it when I've got the money. I couldn't even FIND any of Blaze's albums, let alone the special South American edition of Silicon Messiah that I wanted. They must have sold out or something... :(

I bought 14 c.d.s which included the likes of Poison (possibly the only one I needed to complete my collection)Bang Tango, Shy and Rose Tattoo I also got a pair of zebra striped wrist cuffs and an alchemy pendant (a sword in a sheath) I had to buy something from the stall because the only thing I really wanted was a black rose which I was told they only had for decoration but the guy on the stall said I could have one if I bought something else (nice sales move)so I checked out the stall more closely and found two great items that I may not have if he had just sold me a rose. also bought a programme, some old magazines and a fourwaykill t-shirt and sample c.d.

~ Bloodstock 03 t-shirt (got given another one later in the night too!)
~ Bloodstock 03 Programme, signed by Blaze, Saxon and Bates Motel
~ Blaze - As Live As It Gets (not signed :( )
~ Alcohol - mainly cider, but they ran out in the end  Fancy underestimating the alcohol intake of metallers!!

I think I bought some other stuff, but I can't quite remember. I know I blagged a helluva lot of free stuff though. Go me! Some evil sod tried to sell me some Jagermeister :yuk: Bad person.

Taz :headbang:

Cruel Humanity - Creatures of Fear
Mortiis - Smell the Rain
Tiamat - skeleton skeletron
Cider
Lager
Wine
What was the problem with not having more cider and lager anyway - hadn't they anticipated we all need our beer?

I was disappointed not to find more metal CD's, I was hoping for more a lot more metal choice. And was hoping for more clothes and jewellry - I think there were more stalls last year. Oh well saved me money I guess!

There definately seemed to be more stalls last year, I remember there being a big newrock footwear stall for a start, and one stall that sold lots of clothes not necessarily band related.

:OMG: There was a New Rock stall? Ooh, the temptation would've been too strong if they'd been there this time round... It was hard enough going into Void and coming out empty-handed, but having to wander past New Rocks all weekend would've been my undoing.

Taz

Biomechanical - 8 Moons (7 copies)
Mercury Rain - ??? (2 copies - 1 for me and one for a mate)
1 x current edition of Fireworks
Current issue of Powerplay
8 x back issues of Powerplay

[most of the above is for American mates I will be meeting this weekend in Atlanta]

1 x chicken piece
1 x cornish pastie (Very fucking hot)
1 x hotdog
1 x pork sandwich (with stuffing and apple sauce)

a few drinks

Didn't buy any CDs (apart from the Mercury Rain) since I'll be able to get the disks I want much cheaper in the USA :) Should have bought the digipack edition of Powerquest though.

A Program
Several Lagers
Several Cokes
Several Diet Cokes
A Vodka Tia Maria & Coke

I would have bought more but I'm still on the bones of my arse after wacken.

Also apart from 2 cd stalls I thought the rest stalls were utter shite and expensive. It's far cheaper to get them imported from Germany.

A Powermetal Girls t-shirt for my mini-metalhead!
Dream Evil - Evilized
A few lagers
A few Diet Cokes
A hotdog
2 bottles of water

Thought the stalls weren't as good as the last two years. Where was the New Rock boot stall and we needed more jewellery and clotes stalls! Agree with Eagle about the CD stalls!

1x Boddingtons at the bar (tasted like it was taken straight out of the Gents)
Powerquest - Wings of Forever
Mercury Rain - Dark Waters (also got a shirt as a bribe off them too hahahaha!!!)

Sadly, didn't get to check out any of the merch stands as there just wasn't enough hours in the day.

hehehe !! Hello matey, I reckon, the shirt bribe was a small price to pay for my missus and one of our crew in to see Nightwish before anyone else at their signing session.

...and cheers for organising our signing session, we really enjoyed it.

All the best,

Jon & MR

Dragonforce T-shirt
Gamma Ray "Land of the Free" + "Future Madhouse" on one CD

Handy, as I'd lost my other copy of Land of the Free

Dean.

No New Rocks and no Alchemy either Apart from a few things on the Rock Matrix stand but they had already sold the thing I really wanted which was the leather coffin handbag. Never mind Alchemy might make an apperance next year.

Hi Jon, reckon if I had known about this at your signing I could have blagged the cd out of her too

Shirt is greatly appreciated, and rest assured mate it will be seen at many a gig up and down the country, it's just a shame you guys haven't got any more gigs planned for this year as MR were one of the bands I wanted to see, but obviously couldn't.
