^Actually that's something I've always wondered: why doesn't Jaska play more stuff? I mean he IS a good drummer, but he does pretty simple stuff for COB, which I've never understood.

I ask myself the same question. I can't imagine how much better they would sound if Jaska played some good technical drumming on the records.

Alexi would need to give him more freedom then, when composing parts for songs.

What?? It's been done before and is no longer unique? First off, no music is really unique anymore... pretty much everything in some form has been done. Secondly, no one's asking them to make copies of their old songs, we're asking them to make new songs in the neo-classical old style they had. Thirdly, if you think their current style is more unique and hasn't been done before, you are seriously detached from the metal world. Heavy thrash metal bands are a dime a dozen, whereas you'd be really hard pressed to find another band that sounds like bodom did on their first two (three) albums.

Because a band just doing what the fans want instead of what they actually do themselves isn't lame at all.
