this stuff totally rocks :Smokin: Love the flute & tribal drumming part at around 6 minutes on 'the village'. The upfront bass is also great..listening to this next track now.

Also for something a bit similar to opeth on morningrise see Novembre. Especially classica , dreams d'azure and arte novecento (also recorded by swano in 96).

ive said it before, but try that Arcane Sun album: it has both death and clean vocals, pianos, and sort of "wanky" in places. has a good atmosphere.

also try In the Woods - HEart of the Ages and Omnio.
