'Something good happened today' <--You? Post here!

Dirk's cat hates me. The sneaky fucker rubbed up against me affectionately, then when I petted her, she CLAWED AND BIT ME!

She stole my pillow too :(

Oh yeah, good news. My college friend is getting married next month. Eek.

Something good will happen today and it's called: TUSKA! :D

I will be spamming this forum before the festivities today since I'm at the office, bored and anxious to get out!

Tuska... :( Another extremely interesting gig that I'm missing. I gonna visit it someday, I swear!

Today I found out how to avoid a bug in the middle of playing my computer game. That was pleasant. :)
I am a computer rpg freak. o_O

Talking about cats.. A damned cat killed a bird in our yard a couple of weeks ago, and the poor thing was screaming so loud and desperately.. At first we thought it was a rat and felt quite happy about it, but a few days later we found the dead bird and that's when i started hating that cat. :(
Ok, so this wasn't something good, but it didn't happen today either, so don't complain. :p

Ahh. no more that stupid noise. iiiiiiiiiiiiiii... Why im so stupid and never use ear,, ehh plugs (korvatulppia joku varmaan voi kertoa mitä nuo on englanniksi, tänks).

this happened yesterday, but anyway:

me and my friend were sitting at a bus stop waiting for the damn thing to come so we could go to Helsinki and hang outside the Tuska festival area. after about 20 minutes of waiting we saw the bus coming. i waved at it, and it naturally stopped at the stop to pick us up. in joy i hopped in and walked to the back of the bus, where i saw two empty seats. i sat down assuming my friend'd come sit next to me. the bus shut it's doors and continued it's way to Helsinki, but i couldn't see him anywhere. i looked around, but there was no Joni in the bus. then i recieved a phonecall: "my key chain got stuck in the seat at the bus stop, i'll catch the next one"

i couldn't stop laughing for the next 40 minutes

Oh My Fucking God....Fucking!!!!1!!!11! That may be the funnies thing I've heard today. Though it would have been more amusing if you were to actually be watching him struggling with his key in the bus as you pulled away. You could have just waved and smiled. :) How long did it take him to get unstuck in the end? :')

:D

actually it didn't take him long, only like 10 seconds. :p

i kept laughing really hard in the bus, and i had to hop off before Helsinki cause people kept turning around my way and staring at me in confusion. i waited for Joni's bus at some stop and hopped in it. we laughed the whole way to Helsinki :p i will never stop reminding him about his chain incident.

This is a yesterday thing, but I came home to find Buttercup the rabbit waiting for me outside. :D So now I get to look after her for 5 weeks, which is nice.

Just try holding on to your sleeping rhythm (except when partying (not every day)), eat properly and whenever you're just bound to get bored start reading something...then spend the leftover time having fun with friends or whatever makes you enjoy life, and voila, a succesful summer break coming up.

Well...I ate properly today. Very good chicken steak and potatoes too.

my father had the results of an exam summing up his last six months of chemotherapy today.

apparently, both the main tumor and the infiltrations are gone.

as in anything statistical, there is a confidence level for the results, which means they do not equate to certainty, and i've seen a very dear friend go through the same only to relapse some months after, so it's not time for unabashed euphoria yet - but, as he put it tonight, it infuses some measure of serenity.

he'll have to endure further therapy and constant monitoring, but things are looking way less evil than they did just a few months ago.

i think i'm going to get drunk now.
