songs that send a shiver down your spine

Pain Of Salvation - In The Flesh, A Trace Of Blood, Her Voice, Ashes.
Slayer - Reign In Blood.
Emperor - Almost everything from 'In The Nightside Eclipse'.
Dissection - Where dead angels lie.

Morbid Angel - Ending solo to Invocation of the Continual One
Gordian Knot - Ending solo to Rivers Dancing
Summoning - Last minute and a half of The Loud Music of the Sky

No idea if I've posted in this thread before, but whatever.

Symphony X - Communion and the Oracle
Tool - Eulogy, Third Eye, 10,000 days... Tool's awesome.
Turisas - The Miklagard Overture

Not really metal but Johnny Cash's Wayfaring Stranger sends chills up my spine. A lot of AIC does it to me as well.

#1 for me is Dream Theater's Octavarium-- especially the end section. It's astounding. The instrumental section on Beyond This Life is amazing too.

Porcupine Tree - Lazarus
Alice in Chains - Nutshell
Stone Sour - Zzyxz Road
Metallica - To Live is to Die (clean part with the volume swells)

hmmm...

Anathema - Deep
Opeth - Heir Apparant
Opeth - Godhead's Lament
Funeral - The Architecture Of Loss
Emperor - Empty
Katatonia - Brave
Katatonia - Deliberation
Katatonia - Saw You Drown
Katatonia - Dissolving Bonds
Katatonia - Help Me Disappear
Reverend Bizarre - Anywhere Out Of This World
Swallow The Sun - Descending Winters
Swallow The Sun - Through Her Silvery Body

Bethlehem - Tagebuch einer Totgeburt
Silencer - Sterile Nails And Thunderbowels

ok i'll bite:

what gets me everytime is the sequence of The Taste of Victory/The Path of Glory/Untitled from Weltanschauung by Nokturnal Mortum. Definitely better than the Ukrainian version... fucking amazing and moving sequence of interconnected tracks.
