i honestly hate talking about music IRL, cause i get the feeling just give me a "wtf pretentious" look , plus if all you have in commen is music, you two had better be going to shows every day

i have no advice, some people you can talk to, some people you cant, all my friends i can talk to for hours and hours and conversation is no problem, some people i'll see and theres just nothing, no matter how much i force it

What am I supposed to talk about with people?
This girl I barely know walked into the same bus as me and after we said "hi, how are you?" she kinda said "so, say something" and that's the hard part.I never know what to say.I asked her what kind of music she likes and then we talked about movies and it was enough to last until the bus station, but what about next time, or someone whom I will be with for longer?
What the fuck do people want to talk about?

tl;dr: How to start a normal conversation about something normal?fast?

if she said that to you then it probably means that she is interested in what you have to say, and actually wants to talk to you otherwise she would have said nothing.
