They are nowhere. Hate Eternal sucks.

You win. Hate Eternal are horrifically boring, monotonous and generic "brutal death". I could care fuck less about their drums, which I believe is Tim Yeung, who is the biggest double-bass whore ever.

I chose Suffocation because I like them more.

I have King of All Kings. I dunno, the drumming is just way too consistant. 30 minutes of straight blast beats gets overwhelming.

I think Suffocation are marginally better, but if we are going to talk about death metal where are Monstrosity and Hate Eternal in this?

Hey man!!! Mostrosity rule!!!! Imperial Doom is a masterpiece, sure!!!!! :headbang:

Straight blast beats get overwhelming, I don't know what you are talking about. I love that sound, if it's done right. Which in my opinion was perfected on King of all Kings.

Constant blasting doesn't deserve respect.

Wait just one darned minute! :loco: I swear you told me once you loved the drums in Decrepit Birth's "...And Time Begins", whos drummer is Tim Yeung, or was the double bass whore comment a comliment?

Yeung only played on Hate Eternal's debut "Conquering The Throne" and not "King of All Kings". Derek Roddy played on "King of All Kings".

By The Way, CTT >>>> KoAK.

Suffocation have dome far more for American Death Metal.
Yeah, but Morbid Angel have done more for Death Metal in general.

I didn't say I loved the drumming on Decrepit Birth's newest, I said it was almost impossibly fast.

And no, it isn't a compliment. It degenerates most of the things he plays drums on into piles of hour long blastfests. (See Vital Remains, at times, during Dechristianize)

Dude, Suffo are TEH OWN! Morbid who? What eva fool...

Pierced crushes any Morbid Angel release. And DTS and Effigy aren't too bad, either...
