Suggested Bands For Bloodstock 2004

Stormwarrior are a truly superb metal band! Even if it;s not this year, get them over for the Darwin stage. I'd also love to see Gamma Ray again after 02's performance though i'd also like to see some new bands especially Sonata Arctica if you hadn't already gathered from my earlier posts :)

Eagle:I know, okay Black Metal isn't that popular but no-one has heard of Advent or Enochian Crescent or Funeris Nocturnum etc. which sucks 'cos all these bands rule supremely.

I've not heard of any of them but seeing as I'm not into Black Metal (Unless it's Bathory). I do however think that at least one Black Metal Band should play at bloodstock (in the darwin suite). Preferable a UK band that's not going to put a big dent in Vince's budget. That way the money can go on importing Traditional & Power metal bands.

Well, they're arguably no longer even Black Metal, but who cares about labels? Anyway, I've been strongly hinting that we should be getting Borknagar over for BS'04. With their new album due out in the spring, the timing would even be good for Bloodstock. My preferred spot as second stage headliners has already gone to the dull FWK, so it's looking unlikely for '04 (unless they go on the main stage :). But at some point, I'd love to see them over in the UK. Are you listening, Vince? :)

Well maybe my eyes are getting bad, but I swear I've only seen one person say THRESHOLD. They have got to be a must have. And I would love to see any of the following (although not at the expense of the excellent THRESHOLD):

Kamelot
Symphony X
Vanden Plas
Enchant
Savatage

and it would be nice to not have quite so many Euro Power Metal bands, although I realise iI'm in the minority in this.

How about Snake Eyes orig from Canada now located in the UK. There new singer is a cross between Halford/Bach also have been working with Balance Of Powers Lionel Hicks. Music is Priest, Saxon, Maiden, Megadeth influ. Also the live show is full of energy with stage props and smoke too.
