Superior 2.0 - preset collection

Bumping this again. I've created a folder on the Sneap Forum FTP called Superior 2.0 Presets. I'm still working on one I'm happy with (finally getting the time to play with S2.0 a bit) and I will upload a preset or two soon. In the mean time, let me (or one of the other FTP admins) know via PM if you want to upload a preset!
I've gone ahead and uploaded the "Superior Full Kit 5" file that was posted earlier in the thread. Great kit, by the way!

Occasionally I have this problem, as well as massive crackling even if the CPU isn't being pushed very hard and I have plenty of RAM (4 gigs.) I'm trying to figure out what the issue is, I have the latest update, 2.02.
UPDATE: figured it out. Sonalksis EQ on another track seems to make Superior 2.0 pig out. Turn it off, no more pig. Gotta bounce my Sonalksis shit before I use S2.0 I guess.
I thought id upload my preset for you all to check out/use/improve upon. if you use it in a track, id be interested to hear it.

I really like the drum sound you've made here savage_messiah. Any chance you could upload a midi file so I can get an idea of the velocities you are using in fills and snare rolls ect.....
I loaded the preset into one of my tracks and it doesn't quite sound the same, mainly the toms snare aren't quite there in the fills, but it's probably just the way I've been programming the fills for my kit. I tend to have pretty low velocities on the toms in really fast rolls. Anyway, great work dude.

hi all, i've downloaded some presets but i seem to be having the same problem as others. when i load the preset all i hear is the kick drum. someone please help! how do you fix this!

On the mixer screen in Superior 2, you need to set the send to stereo to be able to hear it on a single track. The reason you probably can't hear anything but the kick is because it's going to the one track you have Superior 2 loaded on. You'll need to go thru the mixer channels and figure out ho many channels you'll need and make one for each mixer channel that's going to a unique track. Most of the presets on here are setup for multi-channel. Most n00bs, myself included, run Superior 2 in stereo.

when i load up a preset in superior 2 in toontrack solo i can only hear what comes from the 1st output, almost always the kick. but in cubase i can hear all the outputs. mabey you guys all got the same problem

I'm starting to think I'm not happy with Superior 2.0 at all. Anyone else feel that way? It's not very "metal."
I dunno, I've never used it, but from all the clips I've heard, the only weak point has been the kicks IMO - the snares seem to have a great pop, and while at first I thought they all had this atrocious ringing, I've heard clips where it was blissfully absent
idk, i've heard some metal songs with superior drummer and they sound soooo friggen good.....i'm just annoyed i can't get my kit to sound like it.....

I dont have S2, but i think most people with the same problem would like to know how you solved it..

I've heard some good results with S2.0. I think it's all a matter of tweaking, sample replacing/blending, or just processing the raw sounds. There should be something in there for everyone!
I will say, however, that I'm verrrrrry excited for Slate 3.0 which I am upgrading to! He seems to have some great new sounds to work with. I'm a bit tired of his scooped sounding kick for metal though. It's crazy, I can pick it out on recent metal releases!
I'm more into the full bodied snares with a massive THUD, but still some body and natural qualities.

Now I replaced kick/snare cuz I don't feel I can make the stock ones fit my music.
I just changed samples and then everything was way better, 3 plugins max per sample and i got the sound i wanted instantly...
I'm using S2.0 for toms as i love them, and for cymbals as I don't have anything better for them...
