Symphony X Aussie fans unite

Yo, name's Dan/Daniel (not to be confused with the other Dan, progmetalpilgrim :p), been an SX fan for maybe just over a year? I also like booze... I can't afford much atm though. :(
I own every album EXCEPT for V and DWOT, which is a shame, because they are actually my two favourite albums... I just haven't been able to source them (I got all the others off of eBay).

I too love SX epics, like DWOT, TEOF/A winter's dream (shorter songs, but the two of them have Damnation Game well covered ;)), TTLG, Rediscovery, The Odyssey... all fucking awesome to listen to (several times, I've played TEOF non stop for ages :p).

I am looking foward to their planned *cough* Perth visit *cough*. :D

I'm Clover (yes, it's really my name, strange parents), live in sleepy hollow (Adelaide, SA), and I've been a fan for about 10 years. My favourite album would have to be V.

Should they put in an appearance here, that'd be cool, if not it's off to Melbourne for me.

And for the beer lovers out there, it's Coopers Pale for me :)

My friend's aunt had a farm in Australia which was the size of Helsinki (capital of Finland). Well, that's what I heard from him anyways and that's about the knowledge I have of Australia, except for the koala bears, kangaroos and the world-dominating PLATYPUS!

No such thing as a "koala bear", they are not related to bears at all, same as the panda. They are just koala's and love pissing on politicians!

I'm Dan, I've been a fan of Symphony X for about 2 years, been a resident on this forum for about 6 months...

Live in Adelaide (hey clover, good to see another Adelaidean :headbang: ) I like it here, I think Symphony X will come here, but if they don't, it'll be off to Melbourne for me... I have all their albums except their first s/t one or the live one...

I don't drink... :D

If I ever come to Adelaide, I'm forcing you to drink!

 That whole thing is really gay... I just don't drink cos thats a decision I've made, I don't regret it at all, and I find I can have just as much fun socializing, if not more, completely sober. Besides, I'm a fun guy... My idiotic nature is enough to get me by... :zombie:

I don't drink to be social, I drink cause I enjoy it... I'm not actually that social haha... except among people I know/friends. And it's not like I drink 24-7. :p

I have an idiotic nature to some extent, but once again, mostly among friends.

You'd really think that, but i've found alcohol to be my best, and only, friend. It is a great, great thing...

Perhaps you Aussies can answer me this: Why can every animal in Australia (minus the koalas and kangaroos) kill you in a heartbeat? Seriously... death adders, giant spiders, scorpions, sharks and coral off the Great Barrier Reef... the list goes on and on. This issue will no doubt factor in to any future vacationing decisions of mine.
