Holy shit....AWESOME!! Tix for Halford's current US tour are running at about $45, so I can't see this being less.

Is Dark Tranquillity actually on this tour?
I haven't seen any confirmation from the band at the website or here. And now there's a banner ad up at robhalford.com that correctly lists Pain Museum replacing Symphony X, but Dark Tranquillity isn't mentioned at all in the list of bands. Ticketmaster only lists the show as "Halford, with Testament and Immortal opening", so that's no help. I guess it's not that big of a deal since I've already seen two 20-minute sets from DT and a third one wouldn't add that much for me, but it would still help make the package that much better.

I'm getting the same feeling.... the halford site used to say they were on the bill but now it's been changed and there's no reference to them at all. Anyone have any knowledge of what's going on??

no, dark tranquillity are not on the tour. actually, they never announced they were, there was a misunderstanding with the promoters. check the news on the official site for further information or if you don't trust dwarves.

You know what? I just realised that I have The Utmost Power in the world to cancel DT-gigs anywhere! I just need to hint the band's management that I'm coming to see the next show with a couple of my finnish friends -and BAM!!! The gig is immediately cancelled!
