THE 2010 WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES

What a fucking game, and what about Jaromir fucking Jagr, revenge of the mullet!

Fuck yes that's fucking old-school. And the Plekanec goal. As I said, the first attack rules. Let's see about the last third, but 3:1 is good already.

Tomas Plekanec's stock has gone up immensely this year, if Montreal doesn't resign him it'll be the dumbest move since not resigning Kovalev.

What was the final score in the Czech/Slovak game? I was gonna stay up and watch it but sleep got the better of me.

Czechs 3 Slovaks 1. Tomas Vokoun looked really stable in the goal, I hope he keeps it up for the Russia game. I haven't slept in over 24 hours btw, but these things only come once every 4 years so what do you do.

Get some sleep, next we'll play tommorow, respectively Saturday 01:30 (16:30 Vancouver). I can wait for that because I'll be in pub all evening and stay there for the match so I can already say I'll get wasted and return home next morning. And Latvia seems like an easier opponent, don't want to underestimate them but they lost 8-2 against Russia.

The Czech/Russia game seems to be shaping up to be awesome. Definitely gonna make sure I catch that one.

2-0 against Germany isn't really that good. Not with the line-up we have this year. But hey, as long as they've warmed up now, Belarus should be a problem.

It was a fully decent game I think, especially since we didn't use any PP/PK formations whatsoever, it was more like a warm up. Either Franzen or Hörnqvist will definitely go up in the Sedin line, and that will be awesome.

I always used to watch the winter olympics, skiing was my thingsince I was young. Isnt there something now where people come to the States train and get on our team ? Thats total bullshit so I dont have much interest anymore, represent your own country... get out of mine.

Holy fuck what a game between Canada and the Swiss. 3-2 shootout win for the homeboys. Good job by the Swiss team, they are a hard working team, and it won't surprise me if they upset a team in the playoffs, they shut down the neutral zone perfectly.

Yeah as I said, don't underestimate the Swiss. It's good that Swiss hockey is under strong development, makes the sport bigger and even more competitive. In 10-15 years they'll be the eight superpower.

They are ranked 7th internationally apparently.

Wow that was probably the most boring game so far in the tournament. I can't say that Tre Kronor was amazing, but it takes two to tango and Belarus was guilty of bringing the tempo down, they barely forechecked in the entire game and basically lined up the whole team in front of their own goal.
