but I realized that I won't hear Bodom anymore when I hear them singing in german or another language. It sounds so horrible when you translate the songs in another language. Would be interesting how I would react if I were a native english. I mean for me as german song names like Punch me, I bleed, In your face, Hate me!, Blooddrunk, Banned from heaven, SIxpounder and You're better off dead sounds fuckin' brutal in english but when I translate them...uh... and I think all other non-native english think the same

bei "the trooper" denke ich mir das "Soldat" (eigentlich soldier) gemeint ist. Reiter oder Kavallerist oder berittener Polizist klingt weniger logisch.
Chokehold = der Würgegriff
choked = gewürgt oder würgte
choked'n loaded.... don't know...
Auch eine Möglichkeit, aber Kinder des Niedergangs klingt einfach blöd, deswegen hab ich das nicht genommen und cry=schreien passt einfach besser zu Bodom als weinen...
ah, es heißt ja choke'n loaded nicht choked... to choke bedeutet dann aber erwürgen, erdrosseln oder ähnliches, wie kommst du da auf anlegen?!?

Ok, now a few ppl say Deathroll means death and roll, a few dead list, a few the deathroll crocodiles use to kill other animals and we have a new speculations that it means killing spree but I can't really believe this.

Yeah we all speak english,but Irish was the old language,we still have to learn it in school which sucks,I remember an interview in Metal Maniacs with Alexi explaning the album title,I'll see if I can find it

Müsste es nicht eigentlich "Jedes mal, wenn ich sterbe" heißen?
"Cocked'n'loaded" heißt wohl sowas wie "gespannt und geladen". (Bezieht sich in der Regel auf Waffen... Vielleicht ist mit "soulmate" eine Waffe gemeint?).
Ja, mein erster Gedanke war auch Jedes mal, wenn ich sterbe... da ich aber die lyrics grad nicht da habe und mir grade der Gedanke besser gefiel, dass er aufgrund von irgendwelchen Sachen jedesmal dabei drauf gehn wird, hat mir das grad besser gefallen.... Die Übersetzungen, die ich gemacht habe sind auch nicht zwangsläufig immer die korrekten, vielmehr einfach nur das, was mir in dem Moment grad einfiel und einigermaßen logisch klang. Gibt ja mehrere Übersetzungen für manche Titel.
