Dead Heart had its ballads as a diversion from the bland chugging riffs. What does TGE have? Final Product and thats about it.

I admire your honesty...TGE dies after the first 4 songs. chugga, chugga, chugga.

Dead Heart is a good album...except for that horror show Sound of Silence "remake".

As for being arrogant wankers.. who the heck have you been listening to? Everyone of these guys are down to Earth sweethearts and great to listen to live. Though, I'm sure you'd group them into "faggy semen swapping wanking tech prog sense" as I think you called it.

"completely", my black ass. I could go on and on and complain about their "fall from grace", but I won't. To say that Dead Heart in a Dead World is FLAWLESS is a load of garbage. To say that the self titled is flawless is a load of garbage. Hell, even Politics and DNB have flaws. I'm not discrediting Nevermore's current ability. I just think it's a bit... off... to say that Nevermore is completely flawless. Guitar solos, vocal lines, lyrics, riffs. The only thing has has been 100% consistent and flawless would be Van.

And another thing I have to get off my chest, I haven't listened to Nevermore since I saw them in Seattle.. maybe once or twice when in Laura's car. TGE was great for the first couple of months, but there wasn't really much relistening going on. DHIADW was good to listen to on the bus going to school to have people give me weird looks. the only cds I even bother to listen to anymore are DNB and POE... MAYBE In Memory, and once in a while the self-titled... and that's RARELY for any of it. I haven't been listening to much music anymore, so what do I know?

I actually think overall I've listened to the s/t and In Memory the most (aside from obsessive DNB listening a few years back). I know what you mean though, honestly I do not think I have listened to TGE in over a year.

eh, i think Final Product was the worst off TGE. the res of the album was great. Born, Sentient 6, Psalm of Lydia, TGE.... AMAZING songs in my opinion. i thin dead heart is their weakest, but i don't own the S/T. BUT River Dragon is maybe the heaviest song, and greatest solo of all time.
