also, what Erik said...I think alot of the microbrews have adopted the wacky labels and names as attention getters...they obviously can't compete financially with the Anheiser-Busch types but they can grab your eyes when you're walking past the cooler.

I remember my ex-woman brought me back a bunch of beer on a family trip several years ago, including some Polygamy Porter. Then when I tried to scam her into a 3-way with her hot friend, she got all butthurt! WTF.

Speaking of sam adams, one of the best comercials goes somthing like this:

Sam Adams Lite entered, and won, one of the most prestegious beer competitions in Germany...




....there was no light beer catagory.

Sam Adams Light is surprisingly good. Amstel Light says they are the "beer drinker's light beer" but nah.
