what do you think about Cats? I haven't heard it, still wondering though

Cats is probably the only mainstream musical I have purposely avoided, haha. After this Ronashit is over I will probably see it, just to see anything in a crowd, but I don't know any songs from it. I can't imagine it being good, but then again it's Andrew Lloyd Webber so...

Fun story. Mom showed me this when I was 16 and I was a bit "uhhh..." about musicals and religion but I watched it anyhow. When it got to this song (skip to 2:27 if you'd like), she still tells the tale of "your teenage heavy metal face just LIT UP when he hit those high notes." Still does honestly. It's fucking incredible.

I had a great time roaming the art museums in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Danzig etc and admiring work from Nordic painters that are not usually featured in museums around here.

More modern stuff is hit or miss, mostly miss tbh, but I'm quite fond of the work of Gerhard Richter and Lyonel Feininger.

I love maritime stuff too. Could stare for hours at the paintings of Claude Lorrain and Claude-Joseph Vernet, the two French specialists of that genre:

this reminded me of the cemetery island in Venice, San Michele. The whole piece of land is just covered with graves and surrounded by water. The main gate that you enter when arriving there on a boat:
