Yeah, Canon is really good as well. As a matter of fact, in terms of compact cameras, Canon is a lot better than Nikon._Zsuzsa_ said:Canon is pretty good too, that's what I use, I have an EOS 3000V.
This is a pic I've taken with it:

I have never done any studio work actually. Most of what I have done is nature/landscape photography. I want to start doing some studio work as well.
I'll post a few of my photos in a bit.

Hylian said:OK, here are a few non-cat photos that I have taken. Neither of them are that recent really, I don't have any of my recent photos here. All taken with the Nikon D70 (with either an el-cheapo 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 zoom or a nice 50mm f/1.8 lens) except for the first one, the sunset, which was taken with the old Olympus C-3000.

On this last photo, for those of you who have seen The Nightmare Before Christmas, does "Christmas Town" ring any bells?![]()
That one was taken in Brazil and yeah, it was colour corrected. Not much though. In fact, if I remember correctly, all I did was increase contrast and saturation a little bit. It was a really quick thing though, just to upload the preview version, so I'll have to re-do it decently later on.Wings of a dream said:This one has GOT to be color edited/corrected.
Nope, what rocks is the place in which it was builtMissery said:I'm speechless. hylian, those pics are awesome!!!!!! you're damn skilled. and portugal rocks
Actually, I don't think I touched the yellow much. It was already very rich, if not even identical, in the original photo. What I probably did was add a little bit of contrast and saturate the blue tones a little bit.Wings of a dream said:The yellow in the boats look amazingly vivid, that's why I though so...
