Actually, JJJs strike rate with that Unearthed thing was pretty damn good, there may be some forgettable crap from it, but silverchair, The Screaming Jets and Grinspoon all from the one competition is awesome

Actually it was three different competitions, and silverchair won a comp. on the Nomad show on SBS. The 'Unearthed' strike rate has been reasonably higher than that of most others like it, but for every Grinspoon they launch, there's ten bands that disappear without trace.

silverchair won a JJJ competition, they were put into a studio to record the ep and had the video for Tomorrow put on Nomad on sbs, that was the prize.

I thought The Screaming Jets and Grinspoon came from the same competition?

Grinspoon was unearthed, TSJ was a battle of the bands it seems, same shit different name.

I'm pretty pissed off that Marty went this week actually. Why the fuck couldnt he of gone 2 weeks ago before Daniel and Ricki Lee. They must feel robbed that he went the week after them.

Hayley is better than Marty. She was the best one at the Beatles show. She sucked at the 80's show though

Marty was better on the Beatles show. Chanel was the best. Hayley did what she did well, but it was the safest most bland and boring performance this series. She has no personality. She is probably technically better than Marty, but as everyone says, it isn't just about singing.

Both of them should have been gone long ago anyway.

nah... I don't get the attraction to her voice. Mark raves on about her giving him chills, but I have never liked her voice. When she starts really getting into it, it just sounds so forced

I remember liking her singing Symphony Of Life, which she got a touchdown for, but other than that I haven't really gotten into it either, but was still better the first few weeks. She has sucked since.
