I wasn't home last night but taped it to watch later.

I agree that Ricki-Lee could be bigger than anyone else from the show thus far, and that the likes of Cosima, Paulini and Rob Mills will fade away fairly soon. Shannon may hang around a little longer though. And I think Guy actually has a bit of credability in the music industry now, well, more than you would expect.

Well hang on, it's a bit early to be calling Cosima a one-hit wonder because her album only came out this week.

Bec Cartwright's album went straight to the cut-out bin even before it came out. I'm not expecting Cosima's album to do much better.

I am glad Ricki Lee is gone cause she was annoying.

They're actually promoting Cosima's album. I think she'll be around for at least another year, she has talent and America's Greatest Songwriter behind her after all.

Chanel is doing Stop by Sam Brown, I swear she picks exactly the same song every week, but then, I guess thats pretty smart. You are better off having the judges say "That was a great performance, but id like to see you stretch out more" than hearing them say you were awful and you shouldnt sing in that genre. Though you can always get the sympathy vote if the judges really rubbish you.

Oh, and I'm puzzled - I'm a big Journey fan but have never actually heard any Steve Perry solo stuff. Strange, innit. Just listened to a bit of Oh Sherrie just now - not bad I guess.

Anyway,

I'm impressed. I like all those songs. My favourite being either the Foreigner or Cheap Trick ones

Marty - similar performance to last week, but not as good. One of his better ones though. He will still surely be in the bottom three though.

Chanel - not much different to what she has done up until now, but damn did she look smokin. Now that Ricki-Lee is gone she may be a contender.

Casey - anything would have been heaps better than last week. She was pretty solid, but not near her best. She deserves to be bottom three after the last two weeks.

Courtney - one of the first times he has done something different, and he did it great. Has to be one of the favourites to win now if he wasn't before.

Hayley - am I the only person in the world that thinks Hayley has a shitty weak voice? She just sounds crap. I don't understand. Bottom three in my opinion, but she probably won't be, as people seem to like her for some reason...

Anthony - great stuff, showing us why he is now probably the favourite to win. Not his best, but very solid, and probably the best for the night.


Marty, Casey and Hayley for the bottom three, Chanel, Courtney and Anthony hopefully the final three.
