I will admit that her performance on the show was rather good last night, however.

I'm not trying to be a pop star. If you would have seen my lately you'd see how much I've trimmed down the fat and put on the muscles.

It's a competetion to find a pop star. Pop music is more about aesthetics than it is music. The girl is grotesque and has an average voice. Fat people aren't pop stars, especially ones who have a mediocre voice at best.
