The best albums of the noughties

It's great. It's a shame that Silicon Messiah came out at almost the same time as Brave New World because it's easily one of the best albums of the last ten years. A shame he can't keep the same band together for very long.
 
RE: Endgame, I enjoyed the album but think it is a little overhyped based on the playing on the album. Some of the guitar work is ridiculously good, but overall the songwriting isn't as strong as it could be. I think The System Has Failed was a stronger album, and was a little overlooked in comparison. Still, good to see them getting positive press.

I love all of Blaze's solo work, Silicon Messiah is amazing and was very overlooked. I think TMWWND is more groundbeaking though, and would probably make my top 20 of the decade list.

I rediscovered Within Temptation's The Silent Force the other day, which would easily make my list. Absolutely amazing album that one.
