The Books/Reading Thread

If those websites have good substance, why not? Blogs, articles etc. There must be some reason it's not merely called the 'Books' thread.
i was actually making the joke about how the people that are addicted to Facebook are idiots, using Twitter is just sending a mass-text to people you're never gonna meet f-2-f and how Instagram is like Twitter for people who can't read, and the people who were mindless TV addicts have become mindless YouTube addicts and how the content of Tik Tok has become so creepy that the "profesional YouTubers" are now actually complaining about "TikTokers" being bat-shit-crazy

Oh, I assumed you were talking about your own reading, foot fetish fanfics and the like.

Put YouTube stuff in the YouTube thread, or here's a readable link on the time travel paradox. Hypothesising or claiming to have solved something isn't the same as it actually being solved, but I suppose the web could do worse than to hype science like that...

Meanwhile I'm slowly reading Even Cowgirls Get the Blues by Tom Robbins.

I finished reading Chris Pavone's THE ACCIDENT. And I just got an advance copy of Marc Cameron's DEAD LINE in the mail the other day.

only around a hundred pages in but so far this is a love at first sight deal, hope it doesn't shit the bed. imagine kurosawa's "high and low" as a decades-spanning mystery with a huge ensemble cast. it's one novel in japanese, but the english translation was published in two volumes.
