I don't understand that. Its Alexi Laiho signature strings but why are they 10-46? He plays 10-56 in Drop C

This one's 10-56

He will most likely only use 10-56 for when he's in dropped C and 10-46 for when he's in D standard. Since you want a thicker low string when playing in dropped tuning.

Pretty simple explanation there.

There was a lot of back and fourth with COB.

It was hard because I was talking to some guy who was working for their US manager, then they had to talk to their EURO Manager, who had to talk to their guitar tech. So the communication for the deal was all messed up, and after a few weeks of not knowing the final answer, the guy working for their US management told me not to bother because he cant get a straight answer from them about it

Found these.

does anyone but me have a problem with string buzz?

I use 10s in E, and have a somewhat hard picking style. I've tried raising the strings and all kinds of stuff. Should I go with 11s?

I can play with some very sharp picks (tortex sharp .88 mm) and with light picking it goes away. I just don't feel that that's the solution though.

could be a truss rod issue that needs adjustment, If the neck as too much of a back bow you will get buzz near the lower frets.

Usually lower fret buzz is a truss rod issue, higher fret buzz is action issue.

Try turning your truss rod 1/4 turn to the left to loosen it. Let the guitar sit for 10-15 min so the wood can adjust.

Should help

*dont go crazy with truss rod adjustments, just 1/4 turns. You could damage your guitar by doing extreme adjustments*

Damnit, I just realized where I posted this .

Well it went away. Raised the strings.
