I forgot about this thread.

Some awesome:

Being married still rocks, coming up on the 1 year in a couple months. Still recording bands for side cash and happy with it. Going to see my nephew today here is a pic:

Some suck:

Been looking for a new job and the market around here is about as terrible as you can get. Either you find the ultra specialist jobs that require X amount of years experience plus a masters degree, or you get the shitty starter jobs that couldn't sustain any sort of standard of living for anyone. I did finally find a job that I could apply for within the company but they have to tweak it so I am currently waiting for an interview. I applied 2 weeks ago. Then I found out another douche cunt that works at the same house I'm working at has applied for the same job, no biggie I have a shit ton more years XP than he does but it's still irritating because that probably means I'm interviewing against a shit ton of people.

The studio where I interned is moving and when they do they are opening a project studio for bands to come use at a better rate. The gear will rock, it just won't be pro tools HD mega fuck you awsome in the ass like studio A (they are buying a digi icon unless they changed their minds). Anyhow last time I was there they said they were strongly considering me to manage that new aspect. The fucking problem is they ain't moving anytime soon and I don't put a whole lot of hope into that other than it would be super kickass if it did happen. They let me free lance at thier place, but the issue with that is getting bands to go for it. :erk:

Anyhow, sorry for the rant.

God do I know the feeling :erk: Good luck with the interview man!

And Mark, that's a great pic dude, keep up the indoctrination! :D

Errrr, let's see...being alive, having a job, yep that about sums it up! lol. Not a whole lot going on in my life right now. I'm basically just gaining more work experience before I inevitably switch paths and go to law school. Hopefully it will happen late next year.

The coolest thing right now is how well our new puppy is getting along with our old puppy - well old is sort of a relative term - he's just over a year old; he's the bigger of the two in the video and his name is Mattie. The new puppy is Willow. They are half brother and sister, sharing the same father - we got them from the same breeder. This was a little video thank you to Victoria our breeder.

My girlfriend is gone:
now I can:
_play drums 3 hours per day.
_Find a new band/project
_Spend all my money in musical gear.

You can't imagine how good I feel

just wrote a new song, getting laid later, ate some good pasta and don't have to get up early tomorrow.

but on the other side, I got a mail from a guy I traded a guitar with, he just received it
and the delivery company fucked it up, so he wants his bass back and I get my fucked up guitar back, ok I will get a refund from the company
but it still sucks.

Over the last month in a half I have lost close to 20 pounds of annoyance I've had my whole life. Been eating strict and doing a whole lot of mountain biking. Additionally, limiting myself to 2 beers maximum (tough stuff). Missed slaying Sam Adams Octoberfest this year but my wife surprised me with a case that I will dominate in December when I can ease up. Nevertheless, I'm pretty stoked on the result and my willingness to be relentless.

Stood in a queue for 2 and a half hours in the fucking freezing cold to get Modern Warfare 2. Best decision I ever made...

same here man
total drowned rat as fuck when i got home
i have the funniest picture ever that i will put up soon when my phone cable stops being a douche
