I went to a 3:30AM screening and just woke up. I've gotta say that this is without a shadow of a doubt one of the best movies I've ever seen. The dialogue was well written, it was shot amazingly, Batman was as badass as ever, it was full of pathos and drama, and best of all....Two-Face and Joker! In my honest opinion, Heath redeems himself of being a gay cowboy tenfold! When he's on screen, when you first see him, Heath isn't there. It's ALL Joker. He really makes you believe is a psychopath. And he really fucks some shit up in this movie as well. You'll love the way the Batpod is introduced, and Two-Face's first appearance with half is face in CGI, scarred and showing ligaments, will have you shit yourself. Anyway, don't go to the theaters expecting just some super hero movie, this is a serious crime drama as well. Everything was there for me. I had to piss in the middle of the movie (I was drinking earlier that night), and being just over two and a half hours, this was a difficult feat. Though there was NO way I could have left the theaters. I shurley would have missed an important part of the story as this thing was constantly going with story or action. There were no "oh I'll go right now as this is just filler that doesn't really do anything." EVERYTHING was important to the movie. There was no filler. Anyway this is about all I can say. I was speechless for the first few hours after watching this. This is DEFINITELY worth the price of admission.

tl;dr This movie fucking rocks. Heath Ledger is totally awesome despite what you might think. Batman kicks ass, Batpod, Joker, Two-Face, awesome!, taking a piss before watching is a must!

I really liked the first one even if I was doubtful because I was a big fan of the first Burton's Batman ones. From what I've seen in the trailers and all this movie will be fucking good, I can't wait to see it! Fuck, I can't go tonight but I'll try next week when there'll be no fucking crowd.

Oh and the fact that I read the originals comics might help too

There are a few of those moments when you just wanna stand up and shout FUCK YES!!!!! After leaving the theaters, first off I was like "woa...it's daylight out." Then I said "wait.....this isn't Gotham." lol.
/\Yea dude I'm a fan of the comics and the animated series and this takes it further. This movie is really fucking dark, actually. It's not as comic book-y as Tim Burton's were (I was never a HUGE fan of Burton in the first place). But this movie doesn't sugar coat a damn thing. Though I love Jack Nicholson's Joker, I think I like Ledger's better. He's batshit crazy.

No dude. Go see this in theaters. THIS is one of those movies. It's like watching a cam video of Lord of the Rings (being a fan or not) for the first time instead of in the theaters. As I said this movie is certainly the price of admission. And as a matter of fact, I'm probably going to see it in theaters at least two more times.....seriously.

Okay maybe not THAT epic...but the scope of the movie is so HUGE! One of the major factors for me was it being really in your face. Everything is just like "BOOM HERE I AM NOW NERDGASM!" As I said this movie is certainly the price of admission. And as a matter of fact, I'm probably going to see it in theaters at least two more times.....seriously.

You fucking moron I won't miss the Dark Knight in Theaters for nothing in the world

But I want to watch it NOAW, not in 4 days :waah:

Even if I download it, buy it, suck it now, I will go see it in theaters.

Though I love Jack Nicholson's Joker, I think I like Ledger's better. He's batshit crazy.

I am only judging (as I haven't seen the movie yet, but only the previews) and my first thought was that Ledger is totally trying to imitate Nicholson's style in the way he plays the Joker. Just looked like he was trying to be Nicholson in this role.

Nah, from what I heard this pwns that lame, almost comical Joker Nicholson played. I am going to see this next week perhaps, or even this weekend. Movie of the year?

It was a little darker than Nicholson's style. I think the resemblance is definitely there, but I think Heath brings something new to it. Something really gritty and even more psychotic. As I said Jack's style was comic book-y and a little campy. Heath's wasn't. Alot of people are saying that this role killed him. Kinda like it fucked up Nicholson. Apparently its cursed (spoooooky), but Heath totally loses himself in it. It doesn't seem forced (like a lot of people were saying).

Dude, don't hate on Nicholson's Joker.
