Source tends to top it, and thats 1) Only including Steam calculations, and 2)not counting any console shooters (which like it or not is where the large majority of people play shooters these days)

Past the fact that overall it falls far short of the most played FPS if you count all online fps outlets, it hasn't done anything new for around 6 years, it simply isn't relevant anymore. I get it, it was a great game, I played in CAL back in the day and dropped out shortly after source reared its ugly head, but seriously let go of it

battlefield is much better than COD, and i say this as a person who hates online shooters, but with battlefield, its more, theres more strategy to it, and its not just wake up toss grenade shoot 2 guys get killed respawn repeat. you get put in squads and move together, reviving and shit. its actually amazing

plus theres helicopters and tanks, and what is fucking cooler than driving a tank, and shooting down buildings on top of people

crysis 1 was pretty awesome *very mild spoilers*


the aliens are the lamest enemy ever though, they just move side to side or circle above you, i prefered killing koreans

Yar Battlefield has always been better than CoD, it just doesn't appeal to as large of a demographic as CoD.

*Spoiler I guess*The alien enemies in Crysis 2 are far superior to the ones in the first game.

I finished Black Ops and it kinda sucks because it's just more of the same except the parts when you don't really play which are really cool. Excellent multiplayer though.

Started playing Amnesia again... I'm going to face my pussy fears and beat this damn game! So fuckin scary though can only take like a half hour at a time. I just figured out how to drain the sewers, now in the morgue trying to turn off the gas down there... Great, the morgue.

Haha, I'm 14 hours into Amnesia and I'm still not finished with it, and supposedly it's only like a 10 or so hour game lol.
