Guys.... Duke Nukem Forever

I knew the Duke was in developement too long for a fresh and memorable product... Should have started fresh when Gearbox bought the rights. 15 years of re-developement, cut/paste and revamping the same game was always bound to be a schizophrenic mess.

Actually it still turned out better than I expected.

I knew the Duke was in developement too long for a fresh and memorable product... Should have started fresh when Gearbox bought the rights. 15 years of re-developement, cut/paste and revamping the same game was always bound to be a schizophrenic mess.

Actually it still turned out better than I expected.

It was released June 14, and it's not that great . It has funny parts and Duke himself is awesome as always, but the game just doesn't stand up against many of the shooters coming out. It's not a BAD game it just doesn't have enough of the old Duke Nukem level style, gameplay and difficulty to be loved by old fans, and it's really not up to par to new shooters for the people that didn't play Duke 3D. Honestly I am sick to fucking death of Call of Duty knock offs (fuck am I sick of fps looking and playing the same) but Duke Nukem Forever isn't the answer I was looking for either.

It needed a shorter more proper development process... You know, planned and developed by the same guys over a few years, instead of a revolving door of ideas/engines/storyboards for 15 years.

bought ninja gaiden sigma 2 yesterday, they took out the blood in the ps3 version, and it plays terrible



ill finish it....maybe....but its bad

First time I checked it out, checked the 1st one too, Demon's Soul, pretty nice, but the RPG like animations bother me a bit.

Has anyone else been playing Witcher 2? I'm now almost 20 hours in on chapter 2, one of the best RPG's I've played in a loooong time.

Great & mature story, dark world and characters, fun bloody combat, lots of descisions that actually matter to the story... If you have a decently powerful PC and like RPG's, get this on steam right now.
