The Gaming Thread

The next game is supposed to be the easiest one by far. Your comment on Sigma 2 suggests that maybe they forgot how to properly make a game difficult. IE Shit mechanics and controls to reach difficulty instead of thought and reflex intensive fights.

playing the first over again right now, and i think the camera might not have been as bad as i thought :p, it isnt the best in the first.

but i love the challange of the first too, im playing through hard (after 3 normal playthroughs). gonna get all 50 golden scarabs this time (got 48 last time :erk:)

then i might play on very hard......but that may be an effort in futility

So Team Fortress 2 is now free to play on steam. I downloaded it but haven't played yet.

We should make a death metal clan, post your steam names. ;D

me = grieverr

@DarkGift I think I'm close to the ending with Amnesia. I can only take so much in one sitting (it's really fuckin scary and I can only take it in doses), I have 14 hours clocked and right now I'm in the morgue. Just figured out the puzzle of jamming a rod in a dead guys head to get some serum. I heard a monster roaring so I ran into the back room with corpses all piled up and my guy started losing it so I quit out. Haven't touched it for a couple days lol....

you need some titles to your nonsense

dragon age 2 and two worlds 2 on sale on steam today.....anyone think theyre worth it? (17$ and 35$ respectively)

I just played through Fable 3 a second time. An odd thing about it is that despite how simplified it is compared to Fable 1, I still found it to be a fun and addictive game. Usually I get all PC-Nazi on games that have been simplified for consoles because it makes the game less intuitive, but I think the style of the game fits the simple interface.

^cool, i couldnt get into those games much but i keep almost buying the third

im so hung over today i think im actually going to make a stab at finishing portal. hopefully it wont be too nausiating

The simplified games tend to be more intuitive to the average person, where as pc vets usually don't see it this way because its not what they personally are used to.

wtf, another assassins creed starring ezio.

for fucks sake i dont care about him or altair just give me the end of the fucking main story

So many excellent games coming out this fall, I'm about to go broke.

Also, I just beat Demon's Souls about a week ago...has anyone played?

^beat it as a warrior and a mage, love that game. bought it first day. sad to hear the servers are going down in october

but then again dark souls will be out

Well Demon's Souls was just a segue into a conversation about Dark Souls anyway.

After a couple failed start ups, I finally chose to run through as a knight and I did pretty well...now I'm waiting for Dark Souls. I've heard it's going to be much harder. The game dev said they HAD to put a checkpoint system in because it wasn't fun while they were testing it

The only gameplay released was the E3 demo that was open to the public. Otherwise I haven't seen anything which is driving me mad.
