i thought it was alright, i found the difficulty cheap, the enemies just took a ridiculous amount of shots to go down. i would just prefer like the old ones where the damage against you was intense, and the enemies were plentiful (and on high difficulties, also stronger versions would be upgraded into). but i played it through almost twice, so i definitely enjoyed it.

So I bought a PS2 at Gamestop. I had a few games for the system in my closet and I found a gem Devil May Cry part 1, I played it all night. I wish more games where well thought out like this one.
I also hear there remaking DMC. I saw Dante's new image on Wikipedia I guess over the years the Demon blood turned his once dark hair white.

^im excited, love the gameplay, loved the asthetic, im hoping the new dante universe is as good as the rest (then again, i played 1, 3 and 4)

Now I am a fan of game music and the soundtrack to DMC 1 is quite chilling on a home theater system. I played like crap on DMC 1 to unlock easy mode and I did a speed run beat the game in about 3 hours. Im hoping to break it. I hope they dont screw it up by making a movie out of it. Parts 2 3 and 4 i have not played I am going to see if I can get them at the local game shop.

yeah that game is hard as fuck, i nearly beat it on hard, but so far have only completed a normal run. same with the fourth and third (i hear 2 is bad, the rest are seriously all great though!)

Whats gay is that PS2 games look like shit on an HDTV I am using the Red Green and Blue cables it helps but not that much. Im getting bored of the Xbox 360 no clue why but I am.

DMC 1-3 are fantastic. 3 is a bit cornball sometimes (one of the unlockable weapons was a fucking electric guitar), but still fun. 4 was the biggest letdown ever. I beat the campaign in four hours.

yeah i never used that guitar unless nessecary....it was actually embarassing to pick it i found

^Lol. Wasn't 3 the one with the two (Or three?) headed flail? I'm pretty sure I used that for the entire game.

^Too beast, mayhaps? New Dark Souls stuff up, have you seen any? New trailers from Gamescon, a bit of prologue from the game and some random gameplay.
I just built my new computer, I need some suggestions for things that will push this fucker to its limits (besides opening pages and pages of porn). So far I've tried New Vegas maxout out 100% and that was a breeze, Crysis 1 and 2 (both were made my computer's bitch), and Metro 2033 maxed out which I also pwned. Metro 2033 was the only game my old computer simply souldn't handle even at medium settings and it was no issue. Anyone know of something more brutal graphically?
Ps2 Emulator running Xenosaga was also no issue, that was the harshest thing I could think of.

Graphically speaking that's as rough as the road gets right now, though crisis 2 will be getting a uber high end texture packet from crytek made for hardcore pc fans, so maybe that will push it harder.
Besides that is just see how it handles poorly made ports that suffer simply because of debatable lack of effort to convert the games. Like, Dead Rising 2, splinter cell conviction, etc etc. I'm assuming you're running DX11?

Did GTA 4 maxed settings with a couple uber-graphics mods. Got a little lag, mission accomplished I have to say GTA 4 with some nice mods looks fucking unbelievable.

im thinking about buying 4 or 5, just cause i wont know how much better 3 is , no nostalgia to ruin them for me, unless theyre just shit i suppose
