The Gaming Thread

how the hell did I miss this thread... I'm gonna have to quote mahself then

so... bought a couple of video games idag and one of 'em is Assassin's Creed, my laptop can't run it since is a bit old so this way I'm forcing mahself to buy a new one sooner than later... the thing is, the game doesn't have a manual/booklet/whateverit'snamed thing so it seems I don't need a password, I did install it to see if it needed the password yet it didn't ask me for it, since I can't run it I can't see if it will ask me for it later cause, if it does, I'll take the game back to the store and change it... does someone knows anything about this? I did look for info on the internerd but I couldn't find shit about it except that, since dunno what year, ubisoft stopped printing the manual/booklet/whateverit'snamed things for their games... any help would be appreciated, FU!

the other two games I bought were WOLFENSTEIN and F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin

this.. nao, help!

I'm not sure, I played the original AC on 360...but I know the second one had a very strict form of protection in place for it to try and weed out thieves...so I doubt the first one would lack a serial key at the least.

The new Wolfenstien was sadly, extremely mediocre. Really dug F.E.A.R. 2 though!

same info I got, the second one had this gaming pretection that detects if yer dvd is an original one or a copy of it... would be easy for me to fix this yet I can't run the damn game so I just need to know someone that has it for pc too XD very idiotic from me to buy the game just to justify the fact that I need to buy a new laptop -.-

as far as I know, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is as good as the first AC... hence why I bought the first one, so I can start playing them all... if you know someone that owns a PC version of Assassin's Creed, ask him/her if the game comes with a manual or a serial key at least, help me smeegoal, heeeelp me :)

I can't play it but I don't wanna take it back to the store... my laptop is a bit too old to run it so I can install it but nothing else, so I'll buy a new laptop soon... the thing is that the game doesn't have a manual with a serial key and since I can't play it yet I can't see if it really doesn't need a serial key or it does need one that you must enter before you play it like with PRAY... you said I don't need one so I'm ok I guess, thank jew girl :)

Anyone here geeky enough to buy Assassin's Creed Brotherhood today? I want to know if it's worth the moneeyyyyyyyyyy!

If you enjoyed Assassins Creed 2 you will enjoy Brotherhood.

Just keep in mind it doesn't add much for fresh ideas, its very much an Assassins Creed 2.5 in that respect. Aside from the multiplayer that is, which I didn't check out.

That said, I liked the concept of the first game, but couldn't get myself to play all the way through...I'm glad they fixed the majority of the issues I had with it for 2.

I've never actually played AC2 yet. I did watch someone play it for a few days and it seemed well awesome. Think I'll get it next month before I even get Brotherhood, seems a shame to skip it!
