I used to hate iPods I wouldn't think of touching anything Apple-related usually. I hate Steve Jobs and all of his PR and business practices to this day. I hate the commercials, the trendy images, people who buy into it, all the "i"bullshit it started, and the lack of reliability.
But that was in the past... :\
fuck, I bought a black classic two weeks ago.

I got the 30GB photo ipod. It was the first one to have a color screen. Of course, a few months later the the video ones came out. I probably will not get another ipod. Sometimes it will stop working for a few weeks, and then start being okay again. At the time, it was really the best option, as the competitors were not really less expensive unless you wanted to get a 1 gig or something, and those dramatically dropped in price shortly after.

My Ipod reformatted itself twice then refused to hold songs.
Best buy lost it when I gave it to them for repairs.

I can not, for the love of god, get a movie on my Zune. I dont know how to use Torrents and I wont use them. Why cant the Zune store have "The Office" like Itunes does. Fuck This!

I need mine when I walk around. If I am listening to an album with long songs I use my cd player. If I am just going out in town to walk I might use it to listen to Darkthrone and than Spoon. The large collection of music is nice.

It's all about third-party software, dude. Getting movies/video clips on your iPod isn't as smooth as they say it is either.

I hate carrying a lot of crap around so I keep it to just my cell phone. With that I can load up an SD card with music or podcast talk shows. The bonus is that if I get a phone call it will pause the media player, ring, and I push a button on the mic to answer. Then when the other person hangs up the media player un-pauses. I never even have to take it out of my pocket to go from phone call to tunes.
They told me I can't take phone calls at work, so I told them I was just singing along to music. How would they know. They must think I listen to some very strange music though with THOSE lyrics.
Then when I go take a shit I can use the same phone to surf the web. I could go on, but I might make you fools who bought an iphone feel jealous.

That was my thought too. I also found that it could not do most of the things I need my phone to do. It's pretty but not that functional.
