Just got my new 80 gig iPod classic, so I figured I'd start a thread.

Hmm I'm thinking about getting one of those... any problems with it so far?

I've still never used an ipod before.. I've had my 20 GB Samsung multimedia player for nearly two years now, I've used it pretty much every working day since I got it & it's never suffered from any serious faults. I only want to upgrade for more memory but I keep reading stories about ipods crashing & losing all your data, which would be pretty bloody annoying with 80GBs worth of it on there.

I've been looking at a 30GB Creative as well, but I haven't found it anywhere cheap around here yet. All I know is I'm going to stick with the Samsung until a really good deal comes along, or when the battery capacity on the Samsung gets too low. Whichever happens first.

i have a very rare ipod, its a 1st generation, yes they came out in 2001 i know but IMO its the best one except for gigage.

my dad has a u2 one and a 80g video classic, and my sister has a shuffle

1 battery last about 20-24 hours and the sound is "decent". I prefer my zune but not by a whole lot. I paid 55 bucks for mine a while back but the same model has been spotted for as cheap as 15 bucks. happy hunting.

I have a Zune. I cant not get a video on it for my life. And that makes me mad.
