The Jester Race definately has to be my favorite. The songs on that seem to be a bit more technical and interesting. And of course who couldn't love Dead Eternity and December Flower.

I love The Jester Race, got some of the bst melodys and songs I've ever heard, Artifacts of the Black Rain, Dead Eternity, December Flower, Wayfaerer, Graveland, and probably the biggest In Flames classic: Moonshield.
I do prefere Colony however, The Jester Race is my second favorite. Wayfaerer itself shows how well In Flames can play riffs, melodys, and the works, better than any bands I've heard so far

It's just that the whole Jester Race album is so well produced, it's like an orchestration of guitars, i dont know if any of you guys tried counting how many guitar tracks they used, 4 or 5 I guess. Not counting there are also keyboards haha!
Definitly my favorite In Flames album even if I can enjoy Reroute to Remain from time to time.

the keyboards were nice in that album it gave them a whole new thing to try doing. but i think the keyboards are played by their producer Fredrik

On some songs he did but the others it was buy Fredrik. I read it in the booklet. Jesper also did keyboards on a lot of the other albums.

And no - Jesper didn't play any keyboards on TJR. They are played by Fredrik Nordström except for the solos in Wayfaerer which are played by KASPAR Dahlqvist.

Anybody able to tell me when TJR was released? I know it was recorded in late 95, but I'm interested in the actual release date (or dates, if it varied by territory).
