Hell
Is it just me, or is that song about a person that prosecutes criminals? A District Atourny type of person. Just think that that's a somewhat funny subject for a song.

I think it's just someone looking at humanity and saying "people suck." But he's somehow outside it.

I get the feeling that there's some sort of plague, and he's immune.. Didn't someone mention Blackwater (something) was a real disease?

"regular pulse midst pandemonium"

and so on..

I'm not sure about the meaning of the song but I know that it probably doesnt have anything to do with dark urine. Blackwater Park is an obscure prog band, and since Mikael likes obscure prog music he ripped off their name.

When I think of the lyrics, I'm reminded of something Tom Araya once said about South Of Heaven (the song): It's how I imagine hell on earth. Blackwater Park definitely has an apocalyptic vision in its lyrics.

Can't seem to remember most of the lyrics off the top of my head any more ( ) but I reckon demonspell is pretty close to the mark. I reckon it's about someones own personal hell or a specific/alternate vision of how hell would be from a 'unique' perspective, instead of painting it as the usual 'eternal flames of hell/fire and brimstone/eternal torture' thing.
