Metallica makes me wanna vomit, seriously, when i hear them on the radio, i start gagging and i have to change the station. On a side note, my friend used to be a die hard Metallica fan, and then i showed him COB, he was like "hes got nothing on Kirk Hammett, kirk hammett is the best guitar ist in the world." I said "your shitting me right, have you heard of Yngwie Malmsteen, Joe Satriani, STEVE VAI!!!" And this guy thinks kirk is better than Alexi, all kirk does is hit fast notes over and over again, and does that one high bend that i hear in every song. Seriously, I hate em. after St. Anger came out i go up to him and say "how bout that new metalica album huh." He said three words to me, "FUck you man" he has now since become a hippy and listens to phish.
 
BOB: know about that metallica shit! im in a band who plays metallica covers, very good by the way, the singer sounds like hetfield back in the days.. and they were like !Fuck this shit" when saint anger came out.. than we didnt play any fpr 3 months and when i come back theyre like: "hey! why dont we ever play st anger or frantic? that would be a blast".. wtf? people force themselves to like the crap just cause its metallica and they happen to realease an album every 4 years or so..

about hammet, i like his suff on ride the lightning and kill em all caus its very simple and just energy.. but with master of puppets the whole band got a bit more technical and better instrumenatlist, everyone except hammet?!? strange thing, he doesnt really sucked big time but he's nothing special and i dont understand all the fuzz bout him! especially no, i mean, load and reload has just alot of whammy solos to hide his inability to keep up with the rest of the metalsoloists, and on st anger he gave up and quit soloing!! hahaha :)
