Oh yeah, i forgot my priorities.. of course, the drum production far outweighs the fact that it is a beautifully crafted album and an excellent display of melody, texture and brutality.
 
Meh, I love everything about that album but the drums, so I can see where you are coming from. But that just kills it for me. It's just imo.

I thought ANUS believes that black metal died in the mid 90s, how are they supporting fairly popular modern bands like those 2? it's very unexpected.

I'm going to point out the obvious here, and remind you that neither band is any newcomer to the scene. Gorgoroth released their first demo in '93 and album in '94, while Marduk is more like '91, '92 (?).
