Yeah man and the trailer is good too, I can't wait.

Two episodes in and it's good so far.
I like Tuuli Narkle. I hope she kicks his arse into gear before the end of the series.

Fuck Mystery Road was good.
I wish we'd make more TV shows like this. Mark Coles Smith and Tuuli Narkle do a brilliant job and Robyn Malcolm if the funniest country coppers ever.

I watched the first ep last night and if I wasn't so tired I could've kept going. Already so good, MCS is such a perfect casting choice. He's gotten a bit older and chubbier since s1 lol. I wish he got cast in more stuff!

I'm wondering if they'll do another series of this. I know this origin series was supposed to give us the background of Jay and what made him the character that he was in the original series, but by my rough guess there is 10-15 years between this origin series and the first time we saw Jay so there's room for another story in there somewhere. I think when we first met Jay's wife (when she was Tasma Walton) the kid was about 12 or 13 so there must be at least one 'cops kid held hostage' story in that time line somewhere!

At first I didn't realise Tuuli was the same woman who is in NCIS Sydney. She doesn't play the most likeable character in NCIS, she does so much better in this. All round the main cast do a really good job in this series but supporting cast like Luke Carroll (Jonny) and Aswan Reid (Swazye) make it so much better.

Oh yeah they could easily squeeze out another season considering Origin season 2 only takes place 6 months after the events of Origin season 1.

Edit: Finished! What a great season, even better than the first Mystery Road Origin imo. Kinda want a Sputty spinoff! It was also cool to see Shantae Barnes-Cowan in more stuff, I loved her in Firebite.
