I love how friends of Mr. Fast from other forums who don't ever post here are now coming in his support and sporting banners imploring people to vote for him. Not only does that totally skew the polls because the people who do post here, their opinions are being overshadowed and disregarded by this new popularity contest, but it's just plain retarded. Mr Fast is an awesome guy, but this whole mod thing is a crock of shit.

MetalAges will hopefully realize this if he hasn't already and call this whole thing off some then the bullshit can stop and everyone and everything can go back to normal.

This forum is giving MetalAges (the guy in charge of Ultimatemetal) some grey hairs cause of all the flame wars and such, so we're voting for who we want to be a moderator to keep this place reasonably peaceful.

I think you're right because the flaming will remain the same, the likes of who are currently on the list would make overly mature members, however it is only the newcomers who regularly report offensive posts. Long term members have learned to appreciate the life of the forum and aren't bothered by racial or stereotypical remarks. It's doubtful that if a moderator is nominated, that they are really going to enforce rules or punishments on the flamers such as Heartless, Rider, etc. and then the fun of the board will fade away.

1. Only Ptah made a sig banner, and MrFast surely did not ask him to do this.
2. I post here on occasion and think MrFast would be a good mod anywhere on UM, so I think I qualify to make a valid vote.
