The production on NITND

Okay, guys. Up until NITND came out, I thought The Great Cold Distance had the best production, but it seems I feel NITND surpasses it in regards to mix and production. Very expertly done in my opinion.

What do you guys think? What's the best Kata album when it comes to production? Discuss.

For me TD has the best production but I have weird taste in music so never mind

BTW I think production being better is also nothing like a mathematical equation, one can like a clearer production while the other can enjoy rough sounds more... Clear production isn't always the best. The best production is the most suitable one for the music, it may change from person to person.

NitND has stellar production - very vibrant and full of life - I'm often down on digital production, but katatonia is a rare case where it works in their favor. I think I still prefer Viva Emptiness as their best, there's something about the dark tone that gives it that whole paranoid, bitter vibe.
